The lamp housing is designed to fit into a particular projector model or range. The bulb is typically made by a major lighting manufacturer such as Philips, Osram, Ushio or Pheonix - these bulbs are often called Original or Genuine. Original Inside lamps are alternative brand products containing an original bulb in a compatible housing. The performance is equal to an official part, but for projectors still under guarantee we recommend an official (OEM) lamp as an alternative may void your warranty. We do also offer a compatible lamp this where budget is of primary concern made with a compatible lamp in a compatible housing and is usually significantly cheaper. They offer excellent performance at an affordable price.
