"Lion Cub By Dave White"
"Dave White is an award winning British artist, working at the forefront of contemporary fine art. With a fresh approach to the traditional paint-to-canvas medium, White uses oil and watercolour to create works that are filled with expression, emotion and dynamism. Known for his animal series’, White captures creatures from the natural world with astonishing vividness, exploiting colour, texture and tonality to generate a unique aesthetic. A baby lion sits at the centre of the print, gazing innocently out towards the viewer. Using thick, dynamic brush strokes, adding flecks and paint splatters, and allowing the pigment to course down the paper in thin, fluid lines, White builds figurative realism through layers of textured abstraction, capturing the presence and vitality of the young lion cub with astonishing prowess. "Wild Strength By Louise McNaught"
"‘Wild Strength’ is a stunning new limited edition print from the amazing Louise McNaught. In India and even in the West, Elephant has come to symbolise the God of Warriors. Elephant is the totem of the greatest of warriors, denoting royalty, inner strength and nobility. The myths involving Elephant have profoundly influenced humanity through history. Louise had the following to say about this piece, “Being a new mother myself, this piece I have done of a baby elephant is tapping into the importance of family and how the female members keep the family together - much like elephants. Having a baby has taught me more I could ever imagine, and a baby elephant represents new life, yet ancient strength, which I feel sums up this experience of becoming a mother beautifully” Each print in this beautiful edition is hand signed and numbered by the artist from an edition of 50 and is printed on Minuet 300gsm cotton rag paper."

"Peeping Leia Landscape By Miriam Lobo"
"Contemporary print-artist Miriam Lobo has an eye for the iconic. All of her prints are hand-made by Lobo herself, who loves to explore with photography, bringing colour-blocking and high-saturation to bear on existing images. Inspired by the Abstract Expressionist and Pop Art greats of the 1950s and 60s - including Mark Rothko, Robert Rauschenberg, and Andy Warhol - Lobo’s work has a distinctly retro flavour, updated with twenty-first century technologies of skilled image manipulation. Lobo’s ‘Peeping Leia’ series are inspired by her childhood adoration of the iconic rebel princess: an especially poignant theme for 2017. ‘Peeping Leia Landscape’ depicts a black and white photograph of Princess Leia, glancing coyly to the side. The image is stark and minimalist: turning up the saturation, Lobo makes a feature of Leia’s ever-exceptional hairstyle against her iconic, white suit. Beside the monochrome portrait, Lobo has layered two blocks of poppy colour - in shades of orange and pink - slightly off-kilter and over-lapping to create a third tone in the centre. Bright, bold, and edgy, Lobo’s print is a powerful tribute to the well-loved star."

"An Ode To California By Kozyndan"
"This offset print by Californian art duo Kozyndan is printed on 80lb Cover Stock fine art paper. The image is of a wonderful hippie utopian landscape, bursting with kaleidoscopic colour and magical creatures. Little humans have been scaled-down and dwarfed by the majesty of the habitat, with its mountains, ocean, forest, sand banks, river, various plants and animals. The central figure is a crossed-legged child that is supposed to represent us all. The child is dreaming of a future California in which the inhabitants have returned to some sense of balance with the natural world. “We wanted to make a playful, trippy, nostalgic image revering the beautiful land that we have called home,” explain Kozyndan. This colourful paradise image was first created as a mural for the exhibition ‘Super Awesome: Art and Giant Robot’ at the Oakland Museum of California in 2014. Over 17ft tall and titled ‘An Ode to California’, Kozyndan described the mural as “an emphatic, trippy appreciation of the grandeur of California”. Discover more in our blog post:Kozyndan Celebrate California!"

"Rhodes Reason By Simon Patterson"
"Rhodes Reason, redraws the Periodic Table and replaces the names of chemical elements with a myriad of names from actors and directors, characters from mythology, politicians, religious leaders and scientists. For example, Iron, which is represented by Fe and its atomic number 26, has been given the name Fred MacMurray, a possible link to the American actors golfing success. The divisions of elements within the table have also been regrouped. For example, the colour blue now represents artists, which includes Fra Felippo Lippi (Fr) and Cesare de Sesto (Cs), and the colour black represents Hollywood actors and directors such as Susan Sarandon (Sn) and Walt Disney"

"Pervette By Sara Pope"
"Sara Pope is a contemporary British artist, known for her seductive paintings of bold and beautiful lips. With a background in the world of haute couture fashion, and a day job as a high profile shoe designer, it’s no surprise that Pope’s prints are so saturated with style and glamour. Pink, pouty and perfect, Pope’s lip prints, with their high gloss sheen and signature drips of running paint, are nothing short of iconic. ‘Pervette’ depicts a pair of lustrous, pink lips, slightly parted with an ultra glossy sheen, as drips of paint slip down the page. Sultry and suggestive, the strength of ‘Pervette’ lies not only in its aesthetic prowess, but in its nuanced musing on the nature of beauty and celebrity in contemporary culture."

"Love Life By Roy's People"
"Urban artist Roy’s People understands that it’s the little things in life that count. His street-art-meets-photography aesthetic has captivated the contemporary art world with its fantastical use of hand-painted miniature figures: working little figurines into the classic square frame, the conventional print or canvas suddenly takes on a life of its own, creating three-dimensional, plastic snapshots. ‘Love Life’ depicts two mini figures, held in a passionate embrace beneath a bottle-top umbrella. A rainy London skyline rises in the background, Big Ben just discernible in the hazy, out-of focus macro. With its clever use of depth perception and bold compositional technique, ‘Love Life’ is fun, fresh and compelling to behold."

"Almond Blossom, 1890 by Vincent van Gogh"
"Theo Van Gogh wrote to his brother Vincent on January 31, 1980 to announce the birth of his son. As a means of celebration, Van Gogh, who was extremely close to his younger brother, immediately began to work on a painting for Theo and his wife. In a letter to his mother he wrote, “I started right away to make a picture for him, to hang in their bedroom, big branches of white almond blossom against a blue sky.” The subject was one of his favourite; blossoming branches against a blue sky. As a symbol of this new life, Vincent chose an almond tree, which blooms early in Southern regions, announcing the coming of spring as early as February. The bright colour reflects the paintings made in Arles and the dark lines outlining the branches are a feature of the Japanese floral studies that Van Gogh greatly admired."

Mixing street-art with a pop aesthetic, Kid-B’s work is all about bold graphics, loud palettes, and no-fuss attitude. ‘Be Sincere’ is from Kid-B’s latest collection ‘The Boom Selection’, which celebrates the street sounds and urban flavours of UK Garage in the 90's and 00's. Across the print, Kid-B has written the titular words - lyrics from MJ Cole’s 2000 song of the same title - in butter-cup yellow, spray-can style font, against a soft blue background. The type is enclosed within a neon strip light, brilliantly recapturing 90s iconography with a twist of contemporary cool."

"Back to Nature- Signed Show Poster By Maria Rivans"
"The work of Maria Rivans is known for its mash up of surrealism meets pop-art. Her scrapbook-like collages - with their 1950s pop-culture references - have all the playful delight of an early Paolozzi, mixed with the strange surreality of a Dali, and brought up to date with a certain sophistication and quirky aesthetic, unique to Rivans. ’Back to Nature’ takes us back in time, to Rivans’ iconic solo show with Inkd gallery in 2013. A gem from Rivans’ archive, the poster offers a tiny glimpse into the fantastical world of her art: an antlered stag, magic mushrooms, and giant flowers can only hint at the weird and wonderful realms to which every work of Rivans’ transports the viewer. A collectable treasure from one of the UK’s most significant contemporary collage artists."

"Flowers, c.1964 (1 red, 1 pink, 2 yellow) is a high quality open edition print of an original silkscreen by American pop artist Andy Warhol. Being square meant you could hang these flowers any way you wanted depending on what angle you liked. The original image for the flowers came from a photograph of seven hibiscus flowers taken by Patricia Caulfield in the magazine called Modern Photography. "Music, 1895 By Gustav Klimt"
"This beautiful museum art print is of Austrian Symbolist painter Gustav Klimt’s 1895 oil on canvas painting ‘Music I’.The print depicts a woman meditatively strumming a lyre in a black dress. The lyre is a traditional symbol of music and this painting is one of several Gustav Klimt produced with a musical theme. On the right is a statue of a sphinx and to the far left you can spot a mask of Silenus, a notable motif found in a number of Klimt’s works to signify “buried instinctual forces”.The original painting originated from a commission by Greek businessman and patron of the arts, Nikolaus Dumba, to decorate two rooms in the Palais Dumba in Vienna. one left in stock"
