Responding to contemporary culture, Bryant’s art subverts the everyday and the banal, always striving to disrupt the ordinary and create something entirely new. From the Artist 'Life was tough for Sir James. Unhappily married to Lady Sarah, he had been in love with his gamekeeper, Thomas, for years. The only way the two of them could meet to talk without arousing suspicion was on their daily ride to Starbucks. Sir James always had a flat white while Thomas, being a child at heart, had a caramel frappuccino. Sir James thought Thomas's choice very basic but his love overrode his innate snobbery.'"

But, as the old adage goes, with great power comes great responsibility, and every tiny moment of Queen Mary’s down-time is cherished. Finally, at the close of the day, she can don her treasured beats headphones and zone out to her favourite extreme metal playlist. Per-fection. From the Artist ""Clever, strong but fair, Mary was the perfect Queen. She had many burdens and responsibilities, but every day at precisely 4pm Mary ensured she had an hour to herself to listen to an extreme metal playlist. Dali-esque, with its dreamy colour scheme and its flattened perspective, ‘Cactus Nights’ defies photographic expectation. Pink petals adorn the desert plant, while a midnight desert stretches out, as far as the eye can see. Breathtakingly beautiful, Attura’s tiny tableaux is a vision of pure escapism."

"It's Closing In II (2019) By Matt Jukes"
"Contemporary artist Matt Jukes is known for his abstracted landscapes, which fuse place, recollection, and emotion, for a meditative and moving aesthetic. With a background in graphic design and print making, Jukes’s work is imbued with a sense of form and tactility: layers are built up within each piece, to explore the possibilities of colour and texture and to create a discursive, visual character within the confines of the printed space. ‘It’s Closing In II (2019)’ blends the beauty of the natural world with the tactile techniques of artistic representation, as shades of turquoise and dusty-blue create the abstract impression of sky and mountains. For Jukes, the piece captures “that moment when the light changes on the last day of autumn, and you find yourself hunting out the perfect spot to hibernate.” Quietly haunting, ‘It’s Closing In II (2019)’ provokes contemplation and introspection with its astonishing visual presence."
