In polyresin which is practically unbreakable rather than fragile porcelain, it's been painstakingly recreated from an original to capture something of the majesty and mystique of an astonishing civilisation."

What that represents in today's money is difficult to ascertain, but we'd probably be talking several hundred thousand pounds.
