The original piece was produced for the ‘Fantasy Zoo’ show curated by Peckham-based creative collective Garudio Studiage. The idea of the exhibition was that 30 artists, with a £10,000 budget to ‘buy’ animals, would create the zoo of their dreams! Influenced by memories of bird watching with her father, Sarah Fotheringham frequently depicts birds in her artwork. "
