"Jacobinia suberecta 9cm"
"Also known as the velvet honeysuckle, Jacobinia suberecta is an unusual and highly desirable perennial that is rarely offered for sale - so this is your opportunity to grow something different that none of your friends are likely to have - or even know about! One of those plants that is a great all-round garden performer, Jacobinia will provide vibrant colour and form all year round and is perfect whether displayed in a pot or planted in the garden border. In addition to its flowers, the soft velvet leaves are a real feature, emerging downy silver and ageing to a glossy green which gives a striking contrast to the attractive flowers. Perfect for growing between other perennials and shrubs as it reaches just 1.5m wide and 1m high, Jacobinia is semi-evergreen (plants may lose their leaves in winter) giving year-round colour and structure. Easy to grow and winter hardy down to -7°C, this is a plant that is not fussy with regard to soil and will tolerate most types, including dry and coastal soils."

"Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' (Snowball Tree) 9cm"
"A popular, easy to grow flowering shrub that is perfect for UK gardens. Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' AKA the Snowball Tree, is a bushy, deciduous shrub with striking blooms and lobed, maple-like leaves that turn fiery shades of red and purple in the autumn. Most noted for its voluminous clusters of flowers, this viburnum bursts into bloom from early May, becoming a mass of green-tinted white snowball flowers which become flushed with pink as they age. Unlike the more common Guelder Rose, fruits are not produced as the flowers of the Snowball Tree are sterile, however the show of spring and autumn colour more than makes up for this - plus the flowers are just perfect for cutting and bringing into your home. Fully deserving its coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit, you can be sure that this is a proven garden performer, robust and vigorous, and guaranteed to be suitable for UK gardeners at every level of experience. You can therefore plant this in the garden with confidence, for stunning displays for many years to come. Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, ready for immediate planting. Reaching around 1m in height and width, Weigela 'Monet' is a lovely spring-flowering shrub, with big, lipstick-pink tubular flowers in spring. However, the real highlight is its foliage which forms a neat mound of pink-blushed leaves. Each green leaf is edged with a variable cream variegation, with varying tints of rose-pink flushing throughout. Variegation will change depending on light exposure - whiter variegation develops in shade and deepest pink in full sun - nevertheless a picture wherever it is grown! Masses of disc-shaped, vivid blue flowers appear from August to October, complimenting the green stems and leaves with their purple margins. These leaves turn russet-red and orange and look spectacular with each fiery shoot ending in a bunch of these cobalt-blue blooms. The Chinese plumbago is a sub-shrub and is partway between a shrub and a perennial where in some years it dies right down to the ground while in others, the top growth stays all winter, making a framework for the following year. "Plumbago auriculata Blue plant in 1.5L pot 70cm"
"A superb summer patio plant, adding a tropical flavour to your garden or patio - their clear sky-blue flower clusters smother this informal, scrambling shrub, which works well in large pots with cane supports. Grow outside all summer, it will need winter protection, as can be damaged below 2C, but will regrow away from the base the following year when it warms up again. In warmer parts of the country, especially in sheltered towns, plumbago will grow as an herbaceous perennial, dying down to ground level before reshooting in late spring. The clusters of phlox-like flowers are subtly scented and will attract butterflies and hoverflies into your garden, making them a great plant for wildlife. Also known by its common name of Cape Leadwort, Plumbago is named from the Latin word plumbum, meaning lead, as it was believed to be a cure for lead poisoning. A great colour addition for summer long colour, and unusual too as it is seldom offered for sale. Supplied as an established plant in a 1.5L pot, ready to pot on."

"Caesalpinia 3.5L - Yellow Bird of Paradise"
"If you want to grow something different, then this is the plant for you! The Yellow Bird of Paradise (Caesalpinia gillesii), is a bushy shrub with a profusion of snapdragon-like flowers dripping with orange-red tassels. Caesalpinia goes by several other names, including the Desert Bird of Paradise and Crimson Threadflower - which give a hint to its drought tolerance and beautiful flowers. The yellow flowers reach around 2.5cm (1in) and are extended further, sometimes by as much as 7.5cm (3in), by the showy stamens which are produced on erect stems 15-30 (6-12in) long. The blooms are a favourite with humming birds in its native South America. Rarely sold or grown in the UK, Martin discovered it on a Spanish Nursery on a trip there recently, and bought all we were allowed to. With fine feathery foliage, like an Acacia, this bird of paradise (which incidentally is not related to the Strelitzia), is borderline hardy in the UK, so we advise protecting from frost in winter. Grow it in large pots in a sunny position, and enjoy its amazing flower displays in late summer. Caesaplinia easy to care for and generally problem free - plants under glass may need a restrictive prune after the first flush of flowers."

"Hibiscus Tricolour standard 80-1M tall 3L - 3 colours on one tree"
"No, your eyes are not deceiving you - this amazing hardy Hibiscus standard tree actually does have 3 colours on the same tree, and will stay that way too. Hibiscus are often propagated by grafting, and the clever nurserymen have here grafted 3 individual different colours - blue, pink and white - to the top of the standard stem. Usually they would graft 3 of the same colour, but in an experimental moment, created this delightful result. And vitally, all 3 varieties have been selected carefully so they grow at similar rates, and no one colour will dominate the tree. This is a more reliable method than the sometimes offered 3 colours plaited together. All they need is an annual trim to shape, and they will stay in this lovely mix for years. Hibiscus syriacus is totally hardy in the UK, but thrives best in hot, sunny spots, and responds well to heavy feeding, especially trace elements. Flowering in August and September, prepare to amaze your friends and neighbours with this horticultural wonder!"
