| "This 1950s, Closed Comb, Slant Head Hoffritz is in good, used condition throughout. It comes complete with its original, Hoffritz metal case, two metal blade holders, vintage still wrapped Personna, Gillette and Wilkinson Sword blades.\nClick through the images until you land on the video, this Hoffritz is featured.\nThe top plate is very shiny indeed with no blemishes, dings or dents. The lightly knurled handle is in pretty good condition, there are some stain marks on the handle which is very typical of Hoffritz razors. There is a tiny hairline crack on the collar just above the knurled handle. The metal box is in a fair condition outside with a few small areas of missing chrome. internally the box is in excellent condition, the lining is intact. The chrome-plated blade holders are in mint condition.\nHoffritz razors are now very rare indeed. To get one boxed with blade holders in this condition is a real rarity.\nIan Fleming, author of the James Bond books mentions Bond in New York - ""Hoffritz on Madison Avenue for one of their heavy, toothed Gillette-type razors, so much better than Gillette's own product"".\nMade in Solingen, Germany by Dovo, the Hoffritz razor was sold in department stores in the USA."
