Polysorbate 20 - Solubilisers |

Polysorabte 20 can also be used as a wetting agent, viscosity modifier, anti-stat, stabilizer and dispersing agent.\nIt is the final ingredient necessary when combining fragrance oil with water-based products like baby shampoo because of very low eye irritation, body wash, toiletries, cosmetics and ointments. Propylene Glycol |
Propylene Glycol\nPropylene glycol is essentially colourless and has a slight odour. \n Propylene glycol is completely miscible with water and many organic solvents and will dissolve a number of resins, dyes and essential oils. Because of its mutual solvent properties, both aromatic chemicals and essential oils can be dissolved in propylene glycol and then diluted with water.\n In cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations, propylene glycol (USP grade) acts as a softening agent, ointment base, preservative, humectant and emollient. Propylene glycol is a component of many cosmetic ingredients. Many grease-like materials can be presented in attractive form through the proper use of this product. Propylene glycol assists in the formation of oil-in-water emulsions. It couples lanolin, oil and soap into water in cold creams and cleansing creams, helps to overcome flaking and rolling in vanishing creams, and generally prolongs the shelf life of most cosmetic formulations. It is also an excellent solvent for dyes and most perfumes, allowing the dispersion of these materials throughout the preparation. Addition of propylene glycol to hand lotions ensures complete and rapid absorption of the protective ingredients by the skin. Propylene glycol is also used in shaving creams to maintain the proper degree of moisture content. Many cosmetic formulations using lemon or other natural fruit juices contain propylene glycol as an inhibitor of mold growth.\n \nStorage: Propylene glycol is noncorrosive and nontoxic; it has a low vapor pressure and high flash point. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.\nSpecification Documents\n Propylene Glycol Spec.pdf \n Propylene Glycol SDS.pdf \n Propylene Glycol Allergens.pdf \n Propylene Glycol Guarantee Certificate.pdf\n

Raspberry Seed Virgin Oil |
Raspberry Seed Virgin Oil\nBotanical Name: Rubus Idaeus\nMethod of Extraction: Cold Pressed\nVirgin Raspberry Seed Oil is a natural oil with a high content of regenerating and protecting components: alpha and gamma tocopherols (Vitamin E), vitamin A, omega-3 and omega-6. These provide superior antioxidant activity. A high level of Vitamin E is also known to have an important role in skin repairing and conditioning. This oil contains more than 80% essential fatty acids. Omega-6 fatty acids are typically present at a level of 50%-60%. It makes it one of the most active vegetable oils on the market.\nThe composition of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids has been shown to reduce the effects of oxidative stress in skin. It is rich in alpha linolenic acid, suggesting pronounced anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Thus, Raspberry Oil is particularly known for the treatment of rashes, eczema, psoriasis and other skin lesions. It is emollient, lubricating, and conditioning. It creates a lipid barrier providing protection to the skin and moisture retention for the skin. Ideal for dry skin, tired skin, mature skin, and damaged skin. Also used for oral care in toothpaste as anti-microbial and for the prevention of gingivitis.\nRaspberry Seed Oil may act as a broad-spectrum UV-A and UV-B shield. Some reports show that it has an SPF of between 28 and 50, however more recent information indicates that the higher SPF values are against the UV A rays, mostly absorbed by the ozone layer. For the UV B rays, (from which we need most protection) it probably had an SPF of up to 8. Raspberry seed oi is becoming popular with massage therapists for its skin healing properties, though it is typically in dilution (10% recommended). It is highly recommended for use in cosmetics, hair and skin care. It is a key ingredient in creams, lotions, massage oil, face oil, and body oil.\n \nSpecification Documents\n Raspberry Seed Virgin - Allergens.pdf\n Raspberry Seed Virgin - SDS.pdf\n Raspberry Seed Virgin - Spec.pdf\n Raspberry Seed Virgin - TDS.pdf\n Raspberry Seed Virgin Flow Chart.pdf \n Raspberry Seed Virgin Vegan Statement.pdf \n Raspberry Seed Virgin GMO Statement.pdf\n
