| Aston Hand Pull 1/2 Pint Cylinder - for Clamp on & Thru the Bar Beer Engines Harry Mason Ltd has been producing high quality Hand Pulls since 1803. ?In 2016 we created our newest addition The Aston Hand Pull. This combines all of our expert knowledge with the use of modern materials.? The Aston Hand Pull 1/2 Pint Cylinder has a very appealing price tag and comes with Harry Masons? top quality manufacture and reliability hallmarks as standard. Description The Aston 1/2 Pint Cylinder and comes with self-contained water jacket. This eliminates the possibility of cross contamination. ?The Aston 1/2 Pint Cylinder also comes with an Energised Non Return Valve. This prevents the beer from flowing back down the line. Installation & Fitting The Aston Hand Pull and Cylinder is also exceptionally easy to install, change and maintain. To remove the Aston Hand Pull 1/2 Pint Cylinder drain both the lines and the cylinder beforehand. This will help eliminate waste and reduce mess. Firstly unscrew the pivot points near the base of the frame. Remove the dispense?tap and unclip the spring pin. Once you have the cylinder and dispense tap free from the frame this make it a lot easier to access the jubilee clips. Simply loosen the jubilee clip that holds the connection tube on to the outlet of the top cap and pull the tube off. To install the new cylinder slide the connection tube over the outlet. Tighten the jubilee clip back up to create an air tight seal. To connect the cylinder to the frame, slide the spring clip through the holes which connect the cylinder clevis and Aston Quadrant together. Screw the dispense tap back to the frame and screw in the pivot point. Tighten the bolts to the frame to avoid them coming loose. Be careful not to screw the pivot points to much but keep them flush with the outside of the frame. To connect the dispense unit up to the beer line, simply slide a?Hose Clip?on the end of the beer line. Once in place slide?it on the bottom of the?Hose Tail.??This is then?connected to the?Aston Cylinder. Make sure to keep all washers and seals in place to keep it air tight. Testing and Warranty With the aid of our new test centre the Aston Hand Pull has been put through rigorous testing. ?This has replicated the equivalent of many years in-trade usage. ?We have such confidence in the performance and longevity of the Aston Hand Pull that we are able to offer a 3 Year warranty. | Barrel Vent Peg with Tubing The Barrel Vent Peg with Tubing is hand machined out of FDA approved Food Grade, high impact material. ?The Barrel Vent Peg with tubing is used to vent the condition of your barrel whilst it is storied in the lay down?position. The tip of the vent peg which penetrates through the shive of the cask is reinforced with a pan head screw. Mini Ball Valve The Barrel Vent Peg has a Brass Mini Ball Valve. This helps to control the condition of the ale when venting the your cask. When venting your barrel, line the vent peg up with the centre of the shive. Finally hit firmly to break through and create a new air tight seal. The Mini Ball Valve has a plastic tail which is glued and screwed in place. ?The Mini Ball Valve handle has an 90 degree operation to fully open and close. ?Consequently this gives greater control over the condition and helps to decrease the amount of wastage. Tubing The Barrel Vent Peg comes with 12'' (300mm) of tubing. This fits on to the mini ball valve tail and helps to direct the flow into a bucket or drain. In conclusion the Barrel Vent Peg with Tubing is ?a really clean and simple way of venting lay down casks. Venting With this method you will not need any other venting equipment as the mini ball valve works as your traditional hard and soft peg.?
