"Cokin X-Pro Series W951 Gradual & Circular Polarising Kit"
"Contains Cokin X-Pro filter holder plus X121M and X164 filters. X121M Graduated Medium Gray G2 Filter Often it is necessary or desirable to balance the light intensity in one part of a scene with another. This is especially true in situations where you don't have total light control, as in bright contrasty landscapes. Exposing for the foreground will produce a washed-out, over-exposed sky while exposing for the sky will leave the foreground dark and under-exposed. Cokin graduated gray ND filters are part clear, part neutral density. They allow the transition to be blended into the scene, often imperceptibly. A ND.6-to-clear, with a two stop differential, will generally compensate the average bright sky-to-foreground situation and is also the most popular density of the series. X164 Circular Polarizing Filter Light rays which are reflected become polarized. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun. Filter factor is between 2.3 and 2.8 (approx. +1.3 stops). Circular polarizers are specifically designed for use with auto-focus SLR cameras (They will also work on manual systems without problems). Note! This kit does not contain a Cokin X-Pro adapter ring"

"Cokin X-Pro Series X153 Neutral Density Grey ND4X Filter"
"Neutral Density filters have several uses and offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results. ND filters appear grey and reduce the amount of light reaching the film. They have no effect on color balance. They have four main uses: 1) To enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with high speed films, to record movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, or cars. 2) To decrease depth of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate subjects from their background. 3) To decrease the effective ISO of high speed film (above ISO 400) and allow it to be used outdoors in bright situations. 4) To allow cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which could cause overexposure. This filter measures 130 X 170mm and only fits the Cokin X-PRO series holder. Neutral Density factors: Cokin 152 (exposure adjustment = approx. 1 stop, reduces ISO 1/2) Cokin 153 (exposure adjustment = approx. 2 stops, reduces ISO 1/4) Cokin 154 (""P"" series only; exposure adjustment = approx. 3 stops, reduces ISO 1/8)"

"Cokin X-Pro Series X036 FLW Filter"
"The Cokin X-Pro Series X036 FLW Filter’s main function is to either remove or decrease the amount of greenish cast created by fluorescent lighting such as white tubes.   FL Filters: • FL-D filter - Shooting under general purpose fluorescent lighting with daylight film can cause greenish tones to appear, the FL-D filter can be used to correct this. • FL-W filter - Balances daylight film under warm white or white type fluorescent lamps. • FL-B filter - Corrects colour balance when fluorescent lighting shooting with tungsten film.   Please Note: These filters are not a 100% guarantee for colour correction and are intended for moderate correction by themselves, which will not necessarily provide perfect colour rendition when shooting under fluorescent lighting. This is because fluorescent lamps tend to burn at varying temperatures therefore demanding extra filtration to reach exact results. In order to achieve specific filtration, it is recommended a colour temperature meter be employed along with Colour Correction filters (i.e.CC30M) when shooting under fluorescent lighting. This is the closest proven way to attain exact colour correction.   This filter measures 130 X 170mm and only fits the Cokin X-PRO series holder."

"Cokin Z-Pro Series Z830 Diffuser 1 Filter"
"The Cokin Z-PRO 083/830 Diffuser 1 Effect Resin Filter filters has very little effect on the sharpness of the image. It merely diffuses highlights - thus reducing contrast. As such, diffusers can be used to soften a landscape, or soften skin texture in a portrait to hide minor flaws. Z-PRO Filters are made of CR39 Resin which is a reputable lightweight and unbreakable optical material also used for ophthalmic glasses. The Z-PRO Series is recommended for focal lengths of 20mm onwards (in the 35mm format). Note! Cokin Diffusers are available in three grades, #1 (#830), #2 (#840), and #3 (#850) with #3 having the greatest effect Soft effects without loss of sharpness Excellent for portraiture"

As such, it is also good for portraiture or any scenario where the photographer wishes to add additional warmth and diffusion to the image. The Z-PRO Series is recommended for focal lengths of 20mm onwards (in the 35mm format). This filter is made of CR39 Resin which is a reputable lightweight and unbreakable optical material also used for ophthalmic glasses. Used to bring skin tones back to a more normal tone when shooting in open shade - or can be used to add additional warmth to what is an already balanced skin tone Good choice for cloudy days"
