"Hoya 62mm Pro Neutral Density ND32 Filter"
"The PROND32 has a 5-stop light reduction equal to a ND optical density of 1.5.   The ACCU-ND technology in the Hoya PROND filters yields a truly neutral colour balance that will not add any noticeable colour-cast to your images. The Hoya PROND series is aimed at the still photography and HDSLR video markets. The series provides 9 filters from two stop to 10 stop light reduction.   The Metallic ACCU-ND coating on the PROND filters do not colour shift as you move from one density to the next, a common problem with other series of neutral density filters. Now you can set your white balance once and have the same colour balance even if you need to change filters due to changes in lighting, or for creative effect.   The PROND filters use Hoya’s exclusive clear optical glass that has a metallic ACCU-ND coating front and back to create the neutral density affect.   Neutral density filters are designed to reduce the amount of light entering your camera lens and should not have any other effect on the image. Reducing the amount of light allows for the use of wider apertures or slower shutter speeds for creative and dramatic effect in bright lighting conditions.   Features Include: • 1.5 ND filter darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required. • To convey movement and control depth of field more easily this filter provides a 5-stop reduction. • Using metallic ACCU-ND coating guarantees colour accuracy and consistency between different Pro ND filter grades. • Prevents filter jamming by using one-piece aluminium ring, which enhances durability and rigidity for assured use. • For continuous image clarity this filter is made from clear optical glass. 5-Stop Neutral Density Filter 1.5 Solid Optical Density Permits Increased Exposure Length Metallic ACCU-ND Coating Clear Optical Glass Construction  This filter has been designed to fit all lenses with a 62mm thread size. Check the end of your lens or inside your lens cap for lens diameter."

"Hoya 72mm 3x Filter Kit HMC Digital UV(C)+Circular Polarising CPL+ND8"
"This kit contains:   • 1x HMC Digital UV(C) Filter • 1x Circular Polarising Filter • 1x NDx8 Filters • 1x Filter wallet.   HMC Digital UV(C) Filter   The Hoya HMC Digital UV(C) Filter is a multi-purpose fine-weather filter that can absorb the ultraviolet rays; often making outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. The clear UV filter has a multi-purpose use and can be left on the lens to serve as a permanent lens protector, digital photography and used for colour as well as black and white film. This filter is renowned for its ability to minimise reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting. The result is an average light transmission of over 97%, giving sharp contrast and well balanced colour. Hoya HMC Digital filters are recommended for enhancing the performance of today's multicoated lenses.   Other uses include:   • Functions as over-all protection filter to minimize moisture, dust and scratches from reaching lens elements. • This filter can be paired with others as its clear filter provides no additional coloration or contrast   Circular Polarising Filter   The Hoya Circular Polarising Filter allows significant reduction reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces. For maximum effect a camera angle of 30 degrees from the reflecting surface (glass, water, etc.) is ideal. To appear clearer with a better contrast the Circular Polarising Filter enables colours to become more saturated; this effect can be used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. The only difference between a circular polarizer and a linear polarizer is that it contains a quarter wave plane that the linear polarizer does not. The purpose of this quarter wave plane is to circularly polarize the linearly polarized light for the use of auto focus and exposure functions. As a result of how the light is broken down and filtered with a linear polarizer, auto focus and exposure accuracy become skewed during use. It permits the use of these functions when the light becomes circularly polarized.   Other uses include:   • Filters out light that has become polarized as a result of reflection from a non-metallic surface, which helps to decrease reflections and glare. • Polarizing filters position and filter directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, permitting absorption of much of the light • Provides more saturation, vivid colours and clears up haze in distant landscapes • Used at a 90° angle from the sun produces the strongest effects. • Ideal for use with digital cameras as well as autofocus lenses where a linear polarizer frequently disrupts auto exposure and focus features.   NDx8 Neutral Density Filter   Neutral Density filters offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results and can enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting colour balance. ND filters appear grey and reduce the amount of light reaching the film and have no effect on the colour balance. This filter offers a filter factor of 0.9, which is equivalent to 3 stops of light.   Other uses include:   • Enabling slow shutter speeds to be used, in particularly with high speed films in order to record movement in subjects. For example, waterfalls, clouds, or cars • Reduces depth of field by permitting broader apertures to be used, this helps separate subjects from their background • The filter can be used outdoors in bright situations as it diminishes the effective ISO of high speed film (above ISO 400) • Allows cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects. An example of these include snow, sand or other bright scenes which could cause overexposure • 8x = ND 0.9 (exposure adjustment = 3 stops, reduces ISO 1/8)   Filter Wallet   This kit comes with a handy filter pouch that your filters can be safely guarded in and will fit within your gear bag. "Hoya 49mm UV & IR Cut Filter"
"The Hoya 49mm UV and IR Cut Filter allows only the visible spectrum of light rays to enter the camera and get captured by the sensor. It does this when the lens filter is attached to your lens. Both higher frequency ultraviolet rays and lower frequency infrared light rays are blocked out by using the UV and IR Cut Filter. the CCD and CMOS sensors found in our cameras are extremely susceptible to catching UV and IR rays, there just outside the visible spectrum and have a very negative impact on image quality.   This filter is used on a digital camera and the video, which do not have an IR protection filter toward an image sensor or were remodelled. This is important because unfiltered CCD and CMOS sensors are extremely susceptible to UV and IR rays just outside the visible spectrum that can have a very negative impact on image quality.   The Hoya UV & IR light transmission curve shows the sharp-cut nature of the filter glass and coatings as well as the consistent light transmission in the visible spectrum. This curve demonstrates a more even visible light transmission than the closest competitor. This means that sharper images with more depth and finer, richer colour gradations are possible with the Hoya UV & IR Cut filter.   The effect of the filter is achieved mainly though the multi-layer coatings on the surface of the filter. Hoya begins with crystal clear, colourless optical glass and then bonds coating to this filter that block both UV and IR light rays outside of the range mentioned. There is light incidence angle dependence in the transmission factor because over layer is thick, so this filter doesn't suit use by a wide-angle lens. It is suitable for heavenly body photography.   Key Features: • Produces better accuracy of colour in digital images than found in most traditional IR filters, when using colour CCD or CMOS camera sensors that are particularly susceptible to UV and IR rays. • Only cuts through those light rays that fall within the visible spectrum of light, this filter blocks both ultraviolet rays found below 390 nm, as well as infrared rays above 700 nm • This combination filter cuts through atmospheric haze to a greater degree than otherwise found. • Compatible with stackable standard filters for a better combination of effects. • Provides support with low-profile and a rigid aluminium filter ring.   An Important Note Regarding Wide-Angle Lenses: Increasing the angle of incidence, meaning light rays entering the filter from an extreme angle as is the case with super-wide and ultra-wide angle lenses, leads to an increasing colour shift as the angle increases. This is based on the physics of light and the nature of the coatings. All UV-IR cut filters have the same properties in this regard. It is not recommended this filter be used with lenses having a field of view greater than 60 degrees.   Please Note: The UV-IR CUT filter is intended for use with digital SLR cameras and cine cameras that do NOT have an IR filter installed in front of the sensor. Colour balance effects can occur when this filter is used with cameras that have an IR filter installed in front of the sensor. Please consult your camera's owner’s manual before use.   Available in sizes 49mm through 82mm. Features Include: • 0.9 ND filter darkens the image, allowing you to photograph with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required. • To convey movement and control depth of field more easily this filter provides a 3-stop reduction. 3-Stop Neutral Density Filter 0.9 Solid Optical Density Permits Increased Exposure Length Metallic ACCU-ND Coating Clear Optical Glass Construction   This filter has been produced to fit all lenses with a 55mm thread size. Check the end of your lens to verify the required size."
