"Dark Side of the Moon 40th Anniversary By Storm Thorgerson"
"The Dark Side of the Moon 40th Anniversary is a stunning silk screen print embellished with embossing, gold leaf, diamond dust and glazes. In March 1973 one of the most successful albums of all time was released: Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon. The artwork for the album became as famous and iconic as the musical content and was designed by Thorgerson who was then part of the graphic art group Hipgnosis.  For the 40th anniversary Thorgerson has created a limited edition silkscreen print divided into a 7x7 grid of squares. Forty of these squares are variations of the original Dark Side image- displaying an incredible level of imagination, inventiveness and humour from the artist. The remaining squares are filled with individual letters spelling PINK FLOYD. Some of the images reference other works by the artist; the prism motif painted onto bodies is redolent of Thorgerson’s Back Catalogue works. Several of the images recreate the prism design in homage to great artists including Dali, Miro, Lichtenstein and Picasso.Click these words to find similar printsSilk Screen Prints Limited Edition Music British Hand Finished Diamond Dust "

"La Sauterelle, 1907 (The Grasshopper) By Pablo Picasso"
"This is a beautiful silkscreen on heavy weight paper of one of Picasso’s drawings that use only a few simple lines.  The influence of primitive art in the early 20th century with its simple styling led Picasso to create these simpler line drawings in his later years. At first glance we all think we could easily replicate these images but to use so few lines to express so much is a lot harder than it looks and is testament to Picasso's artistic talent."

"La Souris (The Mouse) By Pablo Picasso"
"'La Souris' is a beautiful silkscreen print of a mouse on heavy weight paper, and one of Picasso’s iconic drawings that use only a few simple lines. It was the influence of primitive art in the early 20th century with its simple styling that led Picasso to create these simpler line drawings in his later years. His single line drawings are so simple but at the same time so powerful, as they create so much meaning from one single unbroken line. Picasso loved animals and kept a huge variety over his life-time, many of which appeared in his work, and particularly in his line drawings. The simplicity, energy, and life captured in Picasso’s line drawings perhaps explains the continued popularity of these images."
