"Amazonians II By Delphine Lebourgeois"
"Contemporary French artist Delphine Lebourgeois is known for her illustrative aesthetic, incorporating a wide range of media and material within her process including digital elements, collage, pencil, pen, watercolour, and screen print. With sources ranging from Renaissance master Botticelli to the contemporary comic strip, Lebourgeois blends high and low culture for a playful and often irreverent aesthetic. For her ‘Amazonians’ series Lebourgeois has remained the mythological woman warrior tribe with surreal-space-age style. ‘Amazonian II’ depicts a woman clad in bright colours, from pink heels to a cherry-red boob-tube, to skirts of sheer chiffon. Around her head sits a futuristic astronaut helmet, in her hand a powerful sword and at her feel an infant child - this is the woman of the future, ready to take on the world!"

"Shifting Sands (Star Wars) - Large Non Embellished Print By Mark Davies"
"'I have been asked so many times over recent years if I planned to create a full-on Star Wars piece with the most requested scene being the beautiful desert planet of Tatooine. I kept my promise! The colour palette is soft and subtle, beautifully depicting the memories that so many have of the earlier films. I wanted to not hold back and feature key details that draw in so many fans whilst staying true to my style of working. I wanted to create a scene that was moving, where those return from battles past. By leaving so much to the imagination I hope that yours runs away with you, to re-engage with your childhood memories from a cracking era.' - Mark Davies"

"The Sky's the Limit By NadeemArt"
"The work of contemporary artist NadeemArt is marked by its introspective intensity. Featuring the recurring trope of the Nowhere Man, a faceless figure who assumes the mixed emotions of both artist and viewer, NadeemArt’s pieces are suffused with a blend of beauty, poignancy and elegiac reflection. ’The Sky’s the Limit’ depicts the solitary figure of the Nowhere Man, standing in a blank white space. Yet in this depiction, NadeemArt’s signature figure has shrugged off his usual hunched posture and stands, instead, in a pose of hopefulness, as he gazes up towards the sky: a dreamer, a thinker, a figure filled with the possibilities of life. There is real power in the minimalist image, not only aesthetically - through the use of stark monochrome and crisp composition - but emotionally too, in its poignancy and stirring sentiment."

"White Roses After Fantin-Latour By Chris Kettle"
"Brighton based artist Chris Kettle is known for his ‘New Still Life’ paintings: inspired by the antique masters, Kettle has updated the traditional form, creating unexpected arrangements from obscure objects, and realising his explosive vision through a hyper-real aesthetic. Merging realism with abstraction, ‘White Roses After Fantin-Latour’ depicts a simple, thin vase filled with blossoming white roses. Recalling the aesthetic of the French Impressionist painter who gives his name to the title, ‘White Roses After Fantin-Latour’ plays with soft chiaroscuro, as the luminescent-white petals seem to emerge from a deep, muddy background of charcoal greys, which Kettle has built up with textured daubs and smudges. With its ghostly quality, the print evokes the past, while speaking to the contemporary moment with innovative style."

"Miss Wrong By Rebecca Mason"
"Contemporary artist Rebecca Mason explores the darker side of human nature through the medium of light, for a conceptually powerful juxtaposition. In her use of neon, Mason allows the seediness of the city to seep into the delicacy of her work, which is always centred around typography, offering a slight but profound comment on human existence and emotion. The words ‘I am sorry’ greet you in big, white neon letters: this is a no-holds-barred declaration. “I’m sorry for accidentally smashing your marble fireplace. I’m sorry for not listening. I’m sorry for…” and the list goes in, in tiny white text against a beautifully illuminated black background, from the trivial to the tragic. At the centre of the print, Mason has inset a triangle, united by the words ‘Regret, Remedy, Responsibility’ and filled with cynical ‘sorry, buts…’ and ‘empty words: this is the Freudian super-ego at the steering wheel. Visually mesmerising and conceptually provocative ‘Miss Wrong’ shines a light on human fallibility with astonishing prowess."

"Pupil By Jono Dry"
"Contemporary South African artist Jono Dry is known for his unique photorealist-surrealist illustrations: large-scale, graphite on paper drawings that pose as state-of-the-art, greyscale photographs, each one injected with a hint of the surreal, for a fantastical aesthetic. For ‘Pupil’, a close up image of an eye captures shades of exquisite detail, from long, spindly, eyelashes, to soft wrinkles on the skin, and the iridescent patterns of the glassy iris. Reflected in the pupil, spot a tiny human figure, hanging as if frozen in the optic sphere. Breathtakingly beautiful, Dry’s skilled penmanship reproduces all the realism of a photograph, with the fantastical possibilities afforded by pure, imaginative art."

With stunning intensity, the print captures something of the tangible, material quality of the bygone music medium, while drawing out its haunting ephemerality and technological irrelevance through its striking aesthetic qualities."

"My Friends Live Forever - Dark Grey Brick Edition By John Tsombikos AKA BORF"
"John Tsombikos, aka BORF is known for his powerful bend of street and academy, seamlessly merging graffiti with fine art, for a pioneering aesthetic. Addressing the alienation of urban life and a general disillusionment with the sad status quo of adulthood, Tsombikos’ works to combine the youthful vigour of hardcore graffiti with a thoughtful and beautiful brand of contemporary abstract art. Passionately imbued with Tsombikos’ own loss (the suicide of his childhood friend, ‘Borf’) ‘My Friends Live Forever - Grey Brick Edition’ depicts the title words, tagged in white spray paint onto a rough brick wall. Poignant, while conceptually provocative, as it collapses the distinctions between street and canvas, ‘My Friends Live Forever - Grey Brick Edition’ is a powerful work of contemporary graffiti art."

"Dapper Dan British Bulldog (A2) By Angel London"
"Angel London works initially with a digital plan which he then sublimates/ heat presses at high temperature, over a hand painted gesso base onto large 6mm medium density fibre wood (MDF) and is hand finished with charcoal, chalk and oil paint. This combination of mediums produces an earthy quality as the the mdf creates a true likeness to the tan colouring on the bulldog’s hair and contrasts beautifully with the white gesso primed underpainting and the steamed up monocle. This outfit was often associated with the upper classes in early 20th century Great Britain. Furthermore, together with the cigar this piece could be considered as a satirical depiction of Winston Churchill, one of the most influential men in British politics of that century. There are many Winston Churchill anthropomorphism style paintings out there that have set the bar, however this piece is so unique and so classically rendered, hence being sold before it reached the gallery for a private sale to a high profile New York lawyer."

"Enough Is Enough - Day By Jamie Reid"
"British artist Jamie Reid is known for his iconic work with the Sex Pistols in the 1970s. Remember the anarchic Queen with a safety pin through her nose? Reid. And the famous God Save the Queen album cover? Reid again, behind two of the twentieth century’s greatest visual icons. Today, his art continues to be fiercely politically engaged, radically subversive, and visually powerful. Think Peter Blake meets William Blake, in ‘Enough is Enough - Day’, Reid’s ecological war-cry to save our fair planet. Reid blends the vibrant collage aesthetics of Peter, with the mystic, Romantic overtones of William, for a truly compelling - not to mention politically rallying - work of contemporary art. Printed onto acid free, recycled card, Reid’s print hails the bright, environmentally conscious future of printmaking. Hear, hear!"

"Pachta By Robert Proch"
"Contemporary Polish artist Robert Proch combines state-of-the-art animation, Impressionism, and modern graffiti for a palpably twenty-first century style. His work responds to the bland futurism of the modern metropolis: freed from spatial limitations, Proch creates cubist-inspired urban landscapes which seem to shift and distort under the viewer’s gaze. ‘Pachta’ has the quality of a stilled animation: almost glitchy, with its block-painted form, the realist image assumes a haziness that borders on abstraction. A figure crouches in the yellow foreground; others can be just about picked out, moving in the background, as the very space around them seems to slip and modify. In spite of narrative ambiguity, Proch’s elusive characters are invested with a profound sense of human emotion: this is scenic painting for the twenty-first century."
