"Voodoo - Gold By R-W Studio"
"R-W Studio is a British design and art direction studio, established by Richard Welland. With over 20 years experience working in music and art, collaborating with a wide range of clients and other artists—from intimate projects to large-scale campaigns—Welland’s studio is the go-to for contemporary design. ‘Voodoo - Gold’ depicts a huge golden plectrum, dazzling at the centre of the dark print. A humble object in its own right, the plectrum has entered musical iconography as an instantly recognisable symbol of rock and roll. With its distressed surface, the print gestures towards the twin, twentieth century histories of screen-printing and popular music, showcasing its simple subject with powerful visual force."

"I Must Dare to Dream - Blue By Lene Bladbjerg"
"Danish artist Lene Bladbjerg creates prints of striking graphic quality. Crossing the line from graphic design to fine art, Bladbjerg’s work is infused with a gently haunting character, as bold type and strong composition dominate the frame. ‘I Must Dare to Dream - Blue’ exploits Bladbjerg’s exquisite eye for typography. Against a sky-blue background, the sentence ‘I Must Not Daydream’ is repeated all the way down the page, in alternating colours of black, white, and grey, like a naughty schoolchild’s detention lines. But wait! Look a little closer and you’ll spot the rebellious spirit that has crept into that final line: ‘I Must Dare to Dream’. Uplifting and optimistic, brilliantly busy, while arrestingly minimal, ‘I Must Dare to Dream - Blue’ is a hypnotic work of contemporary printmaking."

"I'm Spartacus - Gray By Trafford Parsons"
"Trafford Parsons’ extraordinary and long-spanning career has made its mark on the art world. Avowedly anti-establishment, Parsons work mines popular culture, from B movies to B sides, and brings an energetic street-art aesthetic to the familiar icons that haunt his work. In homage to the late-great Kirk Douglas, the actor’s iconic visage fills the grey print in photographic, grainy black and white. Over his waves of Spartan hair, Parsons has superimposed a wash of lemon-yellow colour, leaving the cut-out edges raw to emphasise the Pop-collage aesthetic, combined with a contemporary digital process. Visually arresting, ‘I’m Spartacus - Grey’ is a true tribute to the Hollywood hero."

"Kobe Bryant By Dollarsandart"
"Dollarsandart - the brain child of Dubai-based artist Jim Wheat - explores the significance of money in twenty-first century society, from both sides of the coin. His art explores the essential qualities of currency: that money makes the world go round, but that it can also act as a force for both good and evil. In tribute to basketball legend Kobe Bryant, Dollarsandart’s print depicts the tragic sportsman in his Jakers jersey. His picture has been duplicated across four squares, each one washed in purple and orange and subtly emblazoned with the dollar sign in a nod to Pop Art portraiture. Focusing on the symbolism of money, through people, places, and occasions, Dollarsandart’s celebrity print comments on the tense relationship between fame and finance in contemporary culture."

"I've Got A Saw Head (01) By Lee Ellis"
"Contemporary artist Lee Ellis draws together the figurative with the abstract, to create textural paintings, brimming with expressive character. Often dark in tone and mood, Ellis’ style is reminiscent of the tortured works of Francis Bacon, shot through with an abstract expressionist quality, that makes for a powerful, contemporary aesthetic. For his recent ‘Saw Dust and Ink’ collection, Ellis explores the potential of printing with various items, to create new patterns and textures. ‘I’ve Got A Saw Head (01)’ depicts a rusty saw head, overlaid onto an image of a man’s torso like a traditional portrait painting. After applying the ink, Ellis has worked into the image with a blade, scraping away sections of pigment to create a raw, textured finish. "Heart By Peter Blake"
"Godfather of British Pop Art, Sir Peter Blake is one of the twentieth-century’s most prolific modern artists. Employing an astonishing array of styles and techniques, Blake’s work is nothing short of iconic: from the famous ‘Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ album cover, to his oil painting ‘Self Portrait With Badges’, Blake has developed a well-established and well-loved style over the last fifty years. One of Blake’s iconic shape collages, ‘Heart’ depicts a huge, red-love heart, surrounded by intersecting blocks of flat colour: an oblong of forest-tree, a shard of mustard yellow, a border of electric blue, and son on. Channelling childlike naivety, this is Pop collage at its very best, brought to you by one of its original innovators: we heart Peter Blake."

"The Struggle of Roy G. Biv By Gary Mansfield"
"Gary Mansfield began his artistic career form inside the walls of a prison: while serving a 14 year sentence for drug importation in his early twenties, Mansfield discovered the YBAs, who would become life-long friends, mentors, and collaborators. Today, Mansfield’s work confronts themes of incarceration, focusing on the material enclosures of prison life for a powerful and politically charged aesthetic. Part of Mansfield’s TIME series, ‘The Struggle of Roy G. Biv’ depicts the close-up view of a twisted metal barb. On first sight, the textured spike appears to have been made from pencil rubbings; look closer, though, and you’ll notice that the entire image is formed from an intricate network of tally lines—the universal symbol of prisoner’s time, scratched onto cell walls across history. A reworking of Mansfield’s iconic work ‘Barb #1’, the print highlights the theme of LGBT+ rights within the last hundred years of the justice system. Here, the rainbow barb at the centre kicks against the iron grip of ‘black & white’ law, making its voice heard with colourful clarity."

"Moored Masts: Tollesbury, Essex By Will Claridge"
"Contemporary artist Will Claridge explores contemporary culture through an innovative blend of photography and painting. Fascinated by themes of banality, the power of Claridge’s art lies in its ability to change focus: what do we see, these pieces to ask, when our vision is obstructed, when the abstract crashes in on the figurative, when the blur of an out of focus photograph demands our undivided attention? Answer: the everyday; but not as you’ve ever seen in it before. Part of Claridge’s ‘The Poetics of the Everyday’ series, ‘Moored Masts: Tollesbury, Essex’ depicts the quaint quayside of Tollesbury, where moored masts of fishing boats seem to clamour for airspace. Unremarkable in itself, Claridge pulls the viewer’s attention towards the surface of the photograph, where thick daubs of hand-applied acrylic create a textured foreground: another competition for airspace. Employing traditional, tactile techniques, but with strong, contemporary style, ‘Moored Masts: Tollesbury, Essex’ is fine art for a new generation."
