"Sarcococca humilis 'Winter Gem' 9cm"
"Treat your winter garden to a fabulous new addition to our range of Christmas Box, and be one of the first to be able to delight in it's glorious perfume. We all know winter can be a dull and dreary time in the garden, but fortunately it needn't be! The commonly named 'Christmas Box' or 'Sweet Box' is one of those plants that just lifts your spirits when you pass it by. The glossy evergreen leaves of 'Winter Gem' produce glorious little flowers, resembling little fireworks, which emit the most sensational and sweet vanilla fragrance you can imagine, especially on sunny days. The white flowers emerge from pinky-red buds and are followed by glossy, round red berries that ripen to black adding interest to your garden for even longer. Easy to grow, in pots or borders, or sun or shade, plant it where you can enjoy those amazing winter scent every day - tough and tolerant of most conditions, 'Winter Gem' is especially valuable for shadier areas. Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot, ready for immediate planting out."

"Plumbago auriculata Blue plant in 1.5L pot 70cm"
"A superb summer patio plant, adding a tropical flavour to your garden or patio - their clear sky-blue flower clusters smother this informal, scrambling shrub, which works well in large pots with cane supports. Grow outside all summer, it will need winter protection, as can be damaged below 2C, but will regrow away from the base the following year when it warms up again. In warmer parts of the country, especially in sheltered towns, plumbago will grow as an herbaceous perennial, dying down to ground level before reshooting in late spring. The clusters of phlox-like flowers are subtly scented and will attract butterflies and hoverflies into your garden, making them a great plant for wildlife. Also known by its common name of Cape Leadwort, Plumbago is named from the Latin word plumbum, meaning lead, as it was believed to be a cure for lead poisoning. A great colour addition for summer long colour, and unusual too as it is seldom offered for sale. Supplied as an established plant in a 1.5L pot, ready to pot on."

"Caesalpinia 3.5L - Yellow Bird of Paradise"
"If you want to grow something different, then this is the plant for you! The Yellow Bird of Paradise (Caesalpinia gillesii), is a bushy shrub with a profusion of snapdragon-like flowers dripping with orange-red tassels. Caesalpinia goes by several other names, including the Desert Bird of Paradise and Crimson Threadflower - which give a hint to its drought tolerance and beautiful flowers. The yellow flowers reach around 2.5cm (1in) and are extended further, sometimes by as much as 7.5cm (3in), by the showy stamens which are produced on erect stems 15-30 (6-12in) long. The blooms are a favourite with humming birds in its native South America. Rarely sold or grown in the UK, Martin discovered it on a Spanish Nursery on a trip there recently, and bought all we were allowed to. With fine feathery foliage, like an Acacia, this bird of paradise (which incidentally is not related to the Strelitzia), is borderline hardy in the UK, so we advise protecting from frost in winter. Grow it in large pots in a sunny position, and enjoy its amazing flower displays in late summer. Caesaplinia easy to care for and generally problem free - plants under glass may need a restrictive prune after the first flush of flowers."

"Jasminium multipartitum 3.5L - Starry Wild Jasmine"
"A lovely and very unusual fragrant evergreen Jasmine, this native of South Africa produces huge white very fragrant starry white flowers in Summer, with that classic Jasmine scent. Unlike most of it's cousins it is not a climber, and forms a neat shrubby clump, ideal for pots and patios. Its shiny, tough evergreen foliage is attractive anyway, even when not flowering. It is borderline hardy to -1 or -2C, especially when in well-drained spots, but best to provide some winter protection in colder areas."

"Hibiscus Tricolour standard 80-1M tall 3L - 3 colours on one tree"
"No, your eyes are not deceiving you - this amazing hardy Hibiscus standard tree actually does have 3 colours on the same tree, and will stay that way too. Hibiscus are often propagated by grafting, and the clever nurserymen have here grafted 3 individual different colours - blue, pink and white - to the top of the standard stem. Usually they would graft 3 of the same colour, but in an experimental moment, created this delightful result. And vitally, all 3 varieties have been selected carefully so they grow at similar rates, and no one colour will dominate the tree. This is a more reliable method than the sometimes offered 3 colours plaited together. All they need is an annual trim to shape, and they will stay in this lovely mix for years. Hibiscus syriacus is totally hardy in the UK, but thrives best in hot, sunny spots, and responds well to heavy feeding, especially trace elements. Flowering in August and September, prepare to amaze your friends and neighbours with this horticultural wonder!"

"Hydrangea 'Lime Rickey' 3L"
"Impress your friends and neighbours by adding this unusual lime-green flowered hydrangea into your summer planting schemes. Full of designer style, Hydrangea 'Lime Rickey' is one of those shrubs that no garden should be without - the large, domed flowerheads of palest green cover this trendy, must-have shrub all through summer, creating a stunning contrast to its luxurious, dark green leaves. Transitioning from fresh lime-green in midsummer to white as the season progresses, the long-lasting blooms make fabulous cut flowers in both fresh and dried arrangements and are also amazing when left on the plants over winter, where their skeletal forms create beautiful architectural shapes when covered in frost. Also known as the smooth hydrangea, wild hydrangea, or sevenbark, 'Lime Rickey' is a cool-coloured specimen plant which creates a striking contrast to rich purples or fiery reds. Easy-to-grow this hydrangea is happy in sun or partial shade and makes a particularly striking plant for a container - either on its own or with other perennials such as salvias. Supplied as an established plant in a 3L pot."

"Hydrangea 'Sweet Annabelle' 3L"
"Imagine, the perfect plant to attract attention to your garden, and deserving pride of place where it can shine throughout the year. This addition to the popular 'Annabelle' series of hydrangeas has the same dramatic flowerheads but with an added bonus - gorgeous, colour-changing, pink blossom. As the buds emerge the backs of the petals are a rich shade of raspberry, so when young, the overall impression is of quite a strong pink. Then, as the buds open, they reveal a lighter upper surface, giving an overall softer shade when the flowers have opened fully. Over the course of the summer the colour becomes even paler, and eventually the big heads take on a subtle, greenish tone. The show doesn't stop there though as after the flowers have faded and fallen, a skeleton of fine filigree remains to catch the frost and sparkle in the low winter sunshine - adding to its year-round interest. Really easy to grow and a great plant for a newbie gardener, 'Sweet Annabelle' blooms on new wood, unlike older varieties which only bloom on the old, so you'll continue to bloom year on year, all throughout the summer, regardless of pruning or extreme weather. An invaluable addition to the mixed or shrub border - as well as a large patio pot - this is a hydrangea that you don't want to be without. Supplied as an established plant in a 3L pot."
