| Aston Hand Pull 1/2 Pint Cabinet Cylinder Harry Mason Ltd has been producing high quality Hand Pulls since 1803. ?In 2016 we created our newest addition The Aston Hand Pull. This combines all of our expert knowledge with the use of modern materials.? The Aston Hand Pull 1/2 Pint Cabinet Cylinder has a very appealing price tag and comes with Harry Masons? top quality manufacture and reliability hallmarks as standard. Description Aston Hand Pull 1/2 Pint Cabinet Cylinder and comes with self-contained water jacket. This eliminates the possibility of cross contamination. ?The Aston 1/2 Pint Cylinder also comes with an Energised Non Return Valve. This prevents the beer from flowing back down the line. Installation & Fitting The Aston Hand Pull and Cylinder is also exceptionally easy to install, change and maintain. To remove the Aston Hand Pull 1/2 Pint Cabinet Cylinder drain both the lines and the cylinder beforehand. This will help eliminate waste and reduce mess. Firstly unscrew the pivot points near the base of the frame. Remove the dispense?tap and unclip the spring pin. Once you have the cylinder and dispense tap free from the frame this make it a lot easier to access the jubilee clips. Simply loosen the jubilee clip that holds the connection tube on to the outlet of the top cap and pull the tube off. To install the new cylinder slide the connection tube over the outlet. Tighten the jubilee clip back up to create an air tight seal. To connect the cylinder to the frame, slide the spring clip through the holes which connect the cylinder clevis and Aston Quadrant together. Screw the dispense tap back to the frame and screw in the pivot point. Tighten the bolts to the frame to avoid them coming loose. Be careful not to screw the pivot points to much but keep them flush with the outside of the frame. To connect the dispense unit up to the beer line, simply slide a?Hose Clip?on the end of the beer line. Once in place slide?it on the bottom of the?Hose Tail.??This is then?connected to the?Aston Cylinder. Make sure to keep all washers and seals in place to keep it air tight. Testing and Warranty With the aid of our new test centre the Aston Hand Pull has been put through rigorous testing. ?This has replicated the equivalent of many years in-trade usage. ?We have such confidence in the performance and longevity of the Aston Hand Pull that we are able to offer a 3 Year warranty. | Rigid Ale Extractor Body with Blanking Plug Harry Mason Ltd recommends when buying a Rigid or Flexible Ale extractor that you purchase at least one extra Ale Extractor Body (also known as a Broach or Shank). This will give you the flexibility to tap the next barrel in advance. Giving it plenty of time to settle whilst you continue to dispense the current barrel. 87% of pubs in the UK sell around 144 pints of ale per week. This equates to two firkins or 9 gallon casks per week. So for every barrel used per week you should have an ale extractor body. Vertical dispensing can save on the amount of space used in the cellar compared to to a traditional lay down method, in theory you can store two firkins stood vertically in the area space that one firkin is in the lay down position. The extractor body comes with a Blanking Plug otherwise known as Blanking Nut, this saves damaging the thread when venting and tapping the cask. We recommend using a rubber mallet when venting and tapping the barrel to prevent any damage to the extractor bodies.? The ale extractor has the ability to vent the condition of the barrel also as well as tapping the barrel. On the Shank on the Extractor body there is a line going round the part that goes into the keystone, the indication line is how far you drive into the keystone. We calculated the correct distance the body needs to go through the keystone. The keystone today is normally made out of rubber material which means when the body goes through the keystone it doesn't break off, it creates a 'flap' which can hinder the performance of the flexible and rigid ale extractors. | Shakespeare Cylinderless Hand Pull Harry Mason Ltd is continually striving to push technology and improve on the experience and performance for it's customers. ?The Shakespeare Cylinderless Hand pull unit is a cylinderless unit which revolutionises traditional dispense.? It replicates the traditional hand pull through the use of a damper and a special on/off valve.? It looks, reacts and feels just like a traditional hand pull delivering Cask Marque approved beer time and time again.? The Shakespeare needs to be pump assisted and no check valve is required. As well as being easy to install and maintain the biggest benefit is the massive savings on ullage (wastage) during line cleaning. Finally, because there is no cylinder, additional re-circulation cooling is not necessary. Installation Installation is the same as any keg product as it uses a standard beer line and gas pump. The unit has three components, all of which are quickly and easily replaced in trade if required. ?The cellar PSI pressure supply to the beer line should be between 18 - 25 PSI or 1.24 - 1.72 BAR. Flow Control Valve The Shakespeare uses a flow control valve which carefully controls the flows of the beer. When the flow control is fully open and the handle pulled correctly it can dispense 1/2 pint in one stroke. The setting of the control knob and the speed the handle is pulled can also restrict/slow the flow of beer*. 'More Haste - Less Speed' *The Shakespeare Cylinderless Hand Pull requires a change in mentality when operating. If the handle is pulled too quickly it can take up to 8 strokes to pour a pint. The faster you pull on the handle the slower the pump will function. Therefore the slower the stroke - the faster the pint is dispensed. L Thread Pin is an easy way of extracting your ale from the cask. ?The Flexible Ale Extractor has a silicon tube and a flotation device. ?With the inlet inserted into the barrel, the float sits at the desired angle just below the surface of the beer. The Single outlet allows you to dispense to multiple dispense units such as the Aston and Shakespeare?hand pulls.?? BSP is the most commonly used thread in the UK. The Single Outlet 3/4 BSP comes with a?hop filter.?When the filter is fitted in place it creates an airtight?join between the hose tail and the outlet. ?This then acts as a washer or seal. ?The Hop Filter is made from 316 Stainless Steel Mesh. ?It is formed into a dome shape and moulded with rubber material around the edge. | The Harry Mason Sparkler & Multibore Creamer set is the perfect set for anybody who is dispensing a wide variety of ales. Each sparkler agitates the beer differently. This is done by restricting the flow of beer through the sparkler. Each sparkler has a with different variations of holes. The Sparkler & Multibore Creamer Set comes with a black1mm multibore creamer, a black0.6mm multibore creamer, anadjustable sparklerand a locking nut.The Multibore creamers are the easiest sparklers to use. The holes agitates the beer, so when fitting you need to screw the creamers on fully. Depending on if you use the 0.6mm holes or the 1mm holes on how much head will be on the pint you serve. Adjustable Sparkler & Locking Nut TheAdjustable Sparklercontains a cone pointing toward the end of the tap. This is in the direct path of beer flowing into the glass.
