Heavyweight Polypropylene webbing 1-1/2 inch has a breaking strength of 1800 pounds with a thickness of 0.060 of an inch.These ratchet straps differ from our standards in that they do not have end hardware. Therefore, "Ratchet Only". These are great as perimeter straps. They come in 3/4 Inch and 1 Inch and are measured by the inside bar where the clip attaches to the D-Ring. These particular D-Rings have been oxidized, black, making them more resistant to corrosion. The D-ring w/clip is mostly used as a type of anchoring hardware. There is really no right or wrong use for these D-rings with clip, (as long as you're being realistic about it).
