15th Century Longsword |
"The longsword, often called a hand-and-half, saw a great deal of service as a weapon of war, but was also employed a great deal as a civilian weapon of self-defense. Coupled with a dagger, the longsword was an excellent defense against robbers, thieves, footpads, assassins and even some of the robber bands that might roam the countryside. A good serviceable point allowed it to be used for thrusting, and a medium weight allowed it to be used easily and carried with equal ease. This weight also allowed it to be used with one hand with a dagger in the other. But when needed, it could be gripped with both hands for a very powerful cut. This is a beautiful and very functional sword with steel pommel and guard. The grip is wood wrapped with leather and wire. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Includes scabbard. ($5 additional s/h) Can be sharpened for additional fee."

Brass Hilted Rondel Dagger |
"The Rondel Dagger was around for a long period of time and took many forms, from utilitarian to pure combat weapon, like this one. The grip is long enough to be grasped with a mail mitten or gauntlets, and the round guard and butt lock it securely in the hand. Many Rondels had plain dagger blades, but this compact type has a thick, strong-fullered blade that ends with a reinforced tip for punching through mail and finding the small, unprotected areas of armor."

Classic Medieval Sword |
"This sword is an Oakeshott Type X with a Type I pommel and a Type VII crossguard. The long and wide fuller on this blade lightens the overall sword and make it possible to deliver fast and shearing cuts, capable of cutting through the mail and padding that were worn during the period. The long guard offers good protection from an opponent's shield or blade, while the classic wheel pommel brings the sword very nicely into balance. This type of sword was in service for a long period of time throughout all of Europe. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Includes scabbard."

Early Scottish Dirk |
"This style dirk is a direct descendant of the medieval ballock dagger. The grip form began to change, probably sometime in the late 16th century, but soon developed a form that was purely Scottish. The blade was long and single-edged. Made to use alone, with a shield and sword, or just with a basket-hilt claymore. We have replicated an early version of the dirk. The hardwood handle is carved with a chevron like pattern copied from an original of the same time period. For those with a serious interest in the Highlands, this is a must for any collection. Includes scabbard. Can be sharpened for additional fee."

Falcata |
"The Celt-Iberians of Roman times were justly famed for their weapons, such as the Falcata; one of the most devastating swords ever made! The blade is made from high carbon steel. The handle is solid brass. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Comes with scabbard."
