Where the flat nylon webbing measures 0.070" to 0.075" the flat nylon tape measures 0.035" to 0.040" The most common use for flat nylon tape is camera handle straps, lanyards, and anything that you want to have strength yet comfort. | If you get frustrated at double d-ring or double o-ring straps slipping, double 3-bar slide belts are what you need. These guys really grip. The hardware on these belts/straps are also known as tri-glides. Your 3-Bar Slide options for the 1 inch patterned polyester webbing include: Nickle Plated or Brass. These belts/straps are typically used to hold up your pants, however they are not limited to that. Sublimation is a process that virtually tattoos the ink into the webbing by turning a solid ink into a permeating gas. This process is done in house and it allows for great detail and vivid custom colorfast colors. Polyester is the only material we carry that is consistent in its ability to be sublimated. Our 1 1/2-inch flat nylon is one of our most popular products because it is affordable and the ideal size for a variety of applications. 1 1/2-Inch Flat Nylon facts: Breaking strength of 4250 pounds (maximum recommended working load 1400 pounds) Melting point of 380 degrees Fahrenheit Available in 24 colors Flat nylon webbing is ideally suited for leashes, collars, leads, ratchet straps, D-ring belts, etc. If you need a heavy-duty nylon strap to hold down a large item or multiple items, pair this webbing with a ratchet or cam buckle and you'll have a monster strap that's strong enough to secure even the heaviest loads. Nylon webbing is not particularly good in wet applications because it stretches when wet, expanding by about 2 percent over time.
