| Double O-Ring Belt made with 1 inch Flat Nylon Webbing. Flat nylon webbing 1 inch has a breaking strength of 3000 pounds with a thickness of 0.070 to 0.075 of an inch. Metal O-Rings are not rated.Double O-Ring Belts; just like the Double D-Ring Belts, they so simple, yet so functional. Sew 2 O-rings on the end of a length of webbing and you get a belt that can be can be used for other non-critical applications such as: tiedown straps for packs, saddle bags, exercise straps for stretching, containment straps, or a general utility strap. Your o-ring options include: 1 inch metal, 1 inch stainless steel, and 1 inch solid brass.If used other than belts, keep in mind the characteristics of the different types of webbing.Double O-Ring Belts made with flat nylon webbing are a good choice for high abrasion applications. It is not recommended for use in or around water continuously because it is less water resistant, making it susceptible to mildew and rot.Double O-Ring Belts made with patterned polyester webbing are perfect for heavy loads with high abrasion. Polyester has the best attributes of flat nylon (abrasion resistance) and heavyweight polypropylene (UV protection, water resistance).Strapworks "Patterned Polyester" is polyester that has been sublimated. Sublimation is a process that virtually tattoos the ink into the webbing by turning a solid ink into a permeating gas. Strapworks' polyester webbing is also sublimated, but is sublimated in solid colors. Polyester has all of the benefits of Flat Nylon, high breaking strength, high abrasion resistance, soft, smooth, and shiny. It also has the benefits of polypropylene, low water absorption, high UV protection, and it is also mildew and rot resistant.Double O-Ring Belts made with heavyweight polypropylene webbing are suitable for medium duty applications. It has excellent UV protection and does not absorb water quickly. | This patterned 3/4" polyester webbing is Strapworks.com's very own sublimated creations. It is made in house, and we can do custom patterns, logos, designs, etc. Solid Color Polyester webbing facts: Thickness of 0.060 an inch Breaking strength from 2500 pounds (maximum recommended working load 830 pounds) Melting point of 500 degrees fahrenheit 5x time the abrasion resistance as flat nylon webbing Choice of 12 stock colors Strapworks, at this time, carries 8 different widths: 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, 1 inch, 1-1/2 inch, 2 inch, and 2 inch (10K). Our polyester sublimated webbing is all colorfast, so this stuff will not bleed! It works great in the outdoors, around water, and is plenty strong. The webbing color may vary from dye lot to dye lot. Polyester Webbing 3/4" has a breaking strength of 2500 lbs., so it works great for medium to heavy duty applications. Please keep in mind that once the webbing is made into a strap with a piece of hardware, it's working load is based on the weakest point of the strap.
