"The Savage Garden #2 By Prefab77"
"Art collective Prefab77 take contemporary street art to new heights - literally. Their urban artworks to-date include awe-inspiring paste-ups in Newcastle and Brighton, each spanning the size of a three storey building. Their work relies on heavy texture, using collage techniques, thick application of gloss, and bounteous coatings of spray-paint, to create bold, busy and beautiful prints. ‘The Savage Garden #2’ depicts the photorealist profile of a woman, surrounded by a kaleidoscopic array of monochrome patterns, type, and graphics. Hints of colour pepper the print, from bright pink lipstick and piercing blue eyes, to scatterings of aerosol pigment and gentle washes of soft hue. It’s a piece that’s rich in texture and design: a triumph of contemporary street-to-canvas aesthetics."

"Sunshine on a Cloudy Day (Valium bottle) By Anthony 'H' Haylock"
"Antony ‘H’ Haylock knows how to have a little fun with art. His work centres around iconic, inanimate objects which, as he says, contain “the power to evoke an emotion, a memory, a visual time stamp.” H’s prints artfully blend high-impact compositional technique with tongue-in-cheek wit to produce an appealing aesthetic that combines pop-art themes and styles with fine art skills and a penchant for word play. ‘Sunshine on a Cloudy Day (Valium Bottle)’ reproduces a white valium bottle, carefully rendering all of the text in meticulous paint daubs. Think Warhol’s consumerist-centric Pop Art meets Damien Hirst’s pill penchant, but with its own textured and painterly aesthetic. Bold and brash, dark while fun, the piece is beautifully executed to maximum impact."
