"Doli Capax - Printers Proof #1 By Prefab77"
"Art collective Prefab77 take contemporary street art to new heights - literally. Their urban artworks to-date include awe-inspiring paste-ups in Newcastle and Brighton, each spanning the size of a three storey building. Their work relies on heavy texture, using collage techniques, thick application of gloss, and bounteous coatings of spray-paint, to create bold, busy and beautiful prints. ‘Doli Capax - Printers Proof #1’ is an experimental proof, created during the production of Prefab77’s sell-out original ‘Doli Capax'. A striking image, ‘Doli Capax - Printers Proof #1’ depicts a crowbar-wielding woman, comprised from an eccentric array of collage cuttings: her photorealist face peers out from a halo of kaleidoscopic patterns, which merge into a full-bodied, graphic dress of impressive proportion. Against a sepia backdrop of lotus-flowers and lightning-bolts, softly hued with scatterings of spray-paint, the print is a compelling triumph of contemporary street-to-canvas aesthetics."

"Defence of the Inanimate - Bed Pan (Shit Happens) By Antony 'H' Haylock"
"Antony ‘H’ Haylock knows how to have a little fun with art. His work centres around iconic, inanimate objects which, as he says, contain “the power to evoke an emotion, a memory, a visual time stamp.” H’s prints artfully blend high-impact compositional technique with tongue-in-cheek wit to produce an appealing aesthetic. The ‘Defence of the Inanimate’ series deftly showcases H’s artistic approach, blending pop-art themes and styles with fine art skills and a penchant for word play. For ‘Defence of the Inanimate - Bed Pan (Shit Happens)’ H has produced an image of a blue enamel bed-pan, chipped and ageing against an off-white background, and surrounded by specks and drips of paint. Juxtaposed against the pan’s chic aesthetic, H has scrawled the words ‘Shit Happens!’ across the front, in dark blue paint strokes. Bold, brash and fun, the piece is beautifully executed to maximum impact."

"Rorschach, 1984 by Andy Warhol"
"In 1984 Andy Warhol produced a series of large scale abstract paintings based on the so-called Rorschach test, devised by the Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach. Each painting is a mirror image of an ‘ink blot’. The Rorschach test requires patients to say what they see in a set of ten standardized ink blots to give the psychologist a better understanding of the patients sub conscious. Warhol did say he wanted to get someone to analyse his paintings but never did. This large scale black skull like blot is a beautiful abstract image in its own right. The text at the bottom is mirrored reflecting the fact the left and right are mirror images. Image Credit ©/®/TM The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc."

"Self Portrait, 1986 (red, white & blue camo) is a museum quality print of an original work by American pop artist Andy Warhol This self-portrait is one of a whole series Andy Warhol created in the year before his death. Warhol strongly controlled his image through his career and worked just as hard on cultivating the image of the artist and he did on creating his art. He took a whole series of polaroid’s often in his striking ‘fright wig’ and then used these to create silkscreen portraits along the lines of the celebrity portraits he had created throughout his career. Here he combines his portrait with camouflage that he used in his artwroks exploring the paradox of it being to hide in the army use and to stand out in its use in fashion.
